We loved the large shared living space where we could spend time during the day together as a whole family, while the bedrooms were individually placed for some more privacy and quite for those afternoon naps. The viewing deck and waterhole was perfect with some game viewing action throughout the day. The house was very well equipped and we saw the big five during our stay. The place was even beter than the photos

The place is absolutely beautiful and the staff is amazing. The twice a day game drives are great, we saw a lot of animals, including rhinos and lions. Our guide Sydney was excellent in tracking the animals. The food in Milima is really good!

Haardus was an excellent host! He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the bush. He was also extremely informative. The property was superb and surpassed our expectations! I would love to return in the future! The kitchen was fully stocked and the property was very clean. No bugs or insects in early July either.

The property was very good, had great facilities such as a nice pool area and the honesty bar. The staff were amazing and really made us feel like family. We even went out for a meal with them on our final evening. Bianca the chef was amazing, all her meals were so good and diverse. Selby our game driver was the best we could’ve asked for, he was amazing at spotting all the animals and taught us so much, was a genuinely nice guy aswell. We already want to come back and will miss all of the staff. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to do a safari. We had a perfect experience. The hospitality was amazing aswell, they really do all the little details that made our trip so good.

The spacious and ultra luxurious rooms (which were well equipped and quiet) and the serene yet central location made us wish we booked a longer stay. Stunning location to explore the many activities and experiences that the town of Hoedspruit and surrounding area has to offer. Little shops, restaurants and of course the Greater Kruger are right on your doorstep. We were warmly greeted and the helpful and friendly staff assisted us in planning and arranging everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable.

Every detail is considered with care, everything you need will be handled. For the price they far exceeded our expectations. WOW - where should I start? Super pleasant and uncomplicated communication with the lodge. Warm welcome, sensational support, assistance is always offered on every topic. The breakfast was incredible - not only was it presented in a first-class manner, it was also super freshly prepared. the atmosphere of the lodge with its attention to the smallest detail is unbelievable! we felt welcome and at home from the very first second - the reality is even better than the pictures suggest! We had an exceptional time. The staff treated us like family. The room was gorgeous (with a pool and outdoor showers so we can enjoy the water while being eyed by giraffes, impala, and baboons), they organised a night outside under the stars in an observation tower, a game drive that we'll never forget, a picnic by the river, a chance to meet elephants at a nearby reserve, and many delicious meals that we enjoyed on our own. The perfect retreat regardless of whether it's family or something romantic. I can't wait to come back.

Lodge 54 is a recently renovated apartment in Hoedspruit, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace.
