I have stayed in a number of kalk bay properties and this is the best yet. The location is perfect with stunning views. You can even see the sea from the bath. Service was outstanding. I was horrifically ill during my stay and Faith went out of her way to meet my every need and the needs of my 3 year old. I was sad not to be able to eat more of the food on the menu as it was stunning. The design is beautiful and so relaxing. The bath was a dream.

The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary, a gas stove, which is important during a power outage. The owner is wonderful and responsive. You will receive advice on any issue. Debby was so friendly and welcoming. I immediately felt at home and welcome. It was a perfect stay. I wish I could have stayed longer. The location to the nice beach front areas of Cape Town were also so close, but removed enough to experience piece and quiet. Loved it.

We had the pleasure of spending one night at Residence William French in March. From the moment we arrived Primrose made us feel at home and did everything in her power to make our stay special. Dinner was a very romantic affair and the food was excellent. The Blue Room was stunning, every piece of furniture bespoke, large spacious bed with luxurious linen and the most magnificent views!

    At the conclusion of our three-week journey in South Africa, we chose to stay here. In fact, we also started our trip with a stay here, and we were delighted to have booked it for the finale of our road trip. Jean, the host, is truly wonderful, welcoming us as if we were old friends. The space is tastefully decorated, and the view from the front window is breathtaking. The location is ideal, situated near the top of the roads in Kalk Bay. While it involves a few steps, the delectable food in Kalk Bay made the ascent more than worthwhile.
