The location is perfect for visiting the castle and old town. The host Maradona was absolutely incredible! From the minute we arrived to the minute we left he was there to help. He gave us a lift to the old town (twice) and was just a super friendly and helpful at all times. We ate at his restaurant and the food was amazing too! Home cooked traditional food and good beer and wine. I will definitely return to this hotel again in the future. He made us feel at home and we really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is surrounded by green gardens and large parks, while the building itself is made of traditional stone and wood. Free Wi-Fi and free parking are provided. Great accommodation in the old city of Gjirokastra, everything was just a few steps away. The owner is a gem, gave us lots of suggestions and insights of the city. Parking was easy, just outside the hotel, and free of charge. Nice breakfast!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Palorto Inn, set in a beautifully renovated Ottoman house in the old town of Gjirokastër. Everything is brand new, with a spacious, stylish and very comfortable room. The welcome was exceptional: the owner is truly incredible and the staff extremely attentive, kind, and caring. They also helped us solve all our little issues — including a problem we had with our car — and were of great assistance throughout our stay. Breakfast, currently served in a nearby restaurant, was delicious.
