They were incredibly helpful, especially guiding me through the logistics for the Valbonë to Theth hike, which I had planned for the next morning. And the view from the terrace? Unbelievable! Surrounded by stunning mountains, it was incredibly serene. I genuinely regret not booking a longer stay. I’ll absolutely be coming back – next time for more than just one night. At the hotel, the rooms come with a wardrobe and a balcony with a garden view. All rooms at NeoKulla Hotel - Hikers Hive are fitted with a private bathroom and bed linen. To be honest, one of the best stays in Albania. The staff was so polite and kind where they asked us several times if we needed something. We also got the chance to speak with the owner because he was a guide himself for like 15 years and he helped us with a lot of information for the treks and everything. He was a gem to that place. We got to see a beautiful baby around who was the highlight. She was so beautiful and happy kid. Would always wave at us. So precious! The food was delicious. It was a set meal for 16 euros per person and included everything you could ask for. My partner who is a vegetarian and gluten free got vegetable instead of meat and a pie with corn flower instead of byrek ( their traditional pie). I got amazed how they also respected his needs because in Albania he has suffered a bit to eat because of this. The breakfast included cheese, honey( which was homemade), boiled eggs, butter, jam and some really delicious pancakesss. Omg loved loved them. They also offered picnic lunch for the hikers which was 5 euros per person. It had everything you need for picnic and to be honest beside cucumber, tomato, salami, cheese, apple, bread they also managed to fry different kind of vegetables who made it more complete and delicious. So in overall an amazing stay and so pity I didn’t reserved for two nights or more because I wanted to stay more but they were fully booked.
