Zhangye Railway Station and Zhangye Coach Station are 1 hour's drive from Kaoshan Tent, and Zhangye Ganzhou Airport is 1 hour and 15 minutes' drive from the property. I had an amazing 2-night stay here! The price for a single occupancy in a double bed room was really affordable. The tent was super cozy and clean, and they even provided an electric blanket and heater to keep me warm during the autumn and rainy weather. The location is great, just a short, safe walk to the west gate. I visited Zhangye Danxia at both sunrise and sunset, leaving in the dark morning and returning alone at night. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. They arranged transport for me at a reasonable price, and the food was absolutely delicious, especially the vegetarian meals I ordered. They even kindly served me breakfast after 10 am, and when I had to check out early to catch the train, they packed me some food. At night, the colorful lighting projecting onto the hills behind the tents was a beautiful sight. I would definitely stay at this place again on my next trip to Zhangye Danxia.

Great location with a delicious famous noodle place 2-min walking distance, bonus! Very nice and helpful staff, reasonable cost, super clean with great view on the 38th floor, a Bose speaker on the bed table really made my mornings. Enjoyed my 2 nights' stay very much.

A very nice hotel, super clean, economical, and with extremely kind staff. Nobody speaks English, except for one single employee, who is stretched thin between this hotel and the adjacent Crown Plaza, so be patient if you need something, because they will need to fetch her to help. We loved the crispy bed linen, so cool and comfortable to sleep! Breakfast had many options, and was very satisfying. Finally, they personally drove us to the airport, which was extremely kind. Totally recommended

The staff is Helpful and friendly, and the location is just amazing, very near to the location where I want to go , Zhangye street , zhongshan bridge all within 15mins walk.

The staff were so very helpful. We communicated by translator apps, and some staff had reasonable English. They organised taxis and tours for us with honest and friendly drivers. First class. Breakfast was a good variety of Chinese food. To those critics who complain about a lack of western food I suggest they stay at home in future. The room was great and the bed / pillows very comfortable. On the firm side which is very common in Asia. The manager made a great suggestion for dinner.

Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also has a family-friendly restaurant and a sun terrace. The accommodation offers a hot tub, free WiFi and family rooms. Lumbum and his family were very kind, welcoming and helpful hosts. The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of Labrang monastery. The lobby is large and beautiful and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. The hotel has a restaurant with a wide choice of Tibetan and Chinese dishes, all excellent. Also, Lumbum speaks very good English. He can arrange a pick up service from the bus station as well as private transportation in the surrounding area and to the Xiahe airport, for a very decent price. Most useful because the location when you search "Tibetan Family Hotel" on Google Maps cannot be trusted (however, the location indicated on Booking.com works better). All in all, one of the best hotels I visited during my stay in China/Tibet, with the greatest hosts!
