The bed was one of the most comfortable I have tried in my life, firm but still soft. The workers are nice and helpful if you need any help planning a trip to the volcano, etc. The owner is generous and kind and the atmosphere among the staff is comfortable. Breakfast is a fancy version of a typical Cabo Verde breakfast: white bread, boiled eggs, guava jelly, Fogo traditional cheese, papaya, etc. The location is in the heart of Sao Filipe and walking distance to all the restaurants and the black beach.

Katya is very welcoming, cooks very (very very) well and takes care of her client like no one did in Cap Verde. We have spent 2 weeks in Cabo Verde and haven’t met anyone that kind, welcoming and helpful. The place is also amazing. Out of nowhere, facing the sea, natural swimming pool… you name it! Katya also offers a few options to discover Fogo island like pico de fogo.

The place was perfect for us: great location, wonderfull view on the caldeira and on the volcano, quality of the staff, size of the room, good food made by them. They have done everything to feel at home. Take time to discuss with Adriano, he has many stories to tell you about the caldeira and about Fogo. They are some of the most warm, welcoming and kind people we have ever met! Their property is in an incredible spot in the caldera with views all around. From the airport pick up, to the amazing home cooked meals, to our guided hike, everything was just great. Highly highly recommend staying here!!

He organize pick up, cooking, tours around island. They brothers are very good gidės to climb to volcano. My big thanks to Felix. I would reccomend to stay there min. 2 nights.

The breakfast is very, very good, to the point that on our second day I asked them not to give us so much food! The swimming pool was great for a dip at the end of a hot day. The scenery is beautiful and the room comfortable. The location is good, it's a 15-minute walk from the town of S.Filipe and a 10-minute walk from the airport. The hotel is in a very quiet area.

Renovation is really well done which preserves the spirit of the building and is very atmospheric. Emmanuel, chef of staff is very friendly and helpful. He also makes great cocktails! Best place to stay in Sao Filipe.
