There is a restaurant on site which is very good and offers a good choice of menu including vegetarian options, the food is of high quality and presented very well, breakfast is also available and is very tasty.In short for us it is a hotel that offers everything and we love it so much we will be visiting twice next year and we are looking forward to it.

Loved the decor and the log burner really works well at heating the whole place up. The Castle Inn is just a few hundred yards away and has a great atmosphere and lovely food. They also do a great breakfast. The enclosed garden is great if you have a dog.

The Venison was sublime and the steak was just the best steak ever, desserts were just wow! The actual Inn was the cosiest and full of history and mystery! Overall a superb place to eat and sleep, staff were very friendly and very hardworking, A really great place to stay. We're going back again! Thank you!

We were in the area visiting friends and stayed 2 nights in a cosy family room as a family of 3. The room overlooked the beautiful gardens, beds were all comfy, plenty of tea & coffee etc provided in the room. Kate & Nathan were more than welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. We ate at the Dartmoor Lodge restaurant for dinner 400m walk just up the road which we would recommend. Great location near to lots of different beaches. We will definitely be booking again next time we are in the area.
