Aurora Skye features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Breakish, 10 km from Kyle of Lochalsh. This recently renovated campground is located 23 km from Eilean Donan Castle and 26 km from Museum of the Isles. The campground has private entrance. We had a fabulous stay at Aurora! Stunning setting, very comfortable bed and pods that are well equipped with kitchen utensils including local welcoming treats. The EV charging on site was great, perfect to charge our car overnight and tour the island during the day. We had dinner at 1 restaurant Red Skye at walking distance (gets pretty busy so advised to book) and got a takeaway pizza in Broadford another evening. It was truly top notch - we can’t wait to come back!

In our room we had access to a kettle and coffee/tea to make on our own. There was porridge and biscuits and a small fridge - to keep foods that we brought cold. The view was beautiful - sheep and water on a sloping view from Bernadette's home. We enjoyed this from the patio in front of the home, Bernadette and her family were lovely and welcoming. Its the best accommodation we had for this trip. We had to check into 6 hotels on this trip and this is really the best! Love the location, the cabin was very well laid out, equipped with everything you need! We were suitably impressed by all the finer details like the coffee machine, even facial tissues in the bathroom drawer. The bed was comfortable and warm. Slept like a baby. The kitchen was small but well equipped. Well appointed cabins, love the view. Just love it. My hubby and I were completely satisfied.
