Very helpful and thoughtful. I also loved the full kitchen, even though we didn’t get a chance to cook, because I was able to wash and sanitize our water bottles. The host had prepared a binder filled with helpful tips about the property as well as several pages of information of what to do/see on the island.

It is also conveniently close to the Worm Hole, which I highly recommend visiting! Sean gave us fantastic advice to help us make the most of our experience on the island. We stayed in a family room, which was spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The private bathroom was an added bonus, and the view of the island from our room was simply stunning. The other guests were also very friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The living room is large and cosy, filled with books and comfortable sofas, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. There is also space for yoga, both indoors and outdoors, which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was varied, with plenty of hot and cold options to choose from. But the moment that truly stayed with me was returning from dinner in the main village to find the common area lit with candles, creating an intimate, immersive atmosphere that perfectly complements the wild beauty of the island and its charming native surroundings. Sean’s hospitality, the lodge’s comfort, and the peaceful, beautiful location make Aran Walkers Lodge an unforgettable place to stay. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Breakfast area was lovely and the food itself was just what we needed to start the day. She even provided non-dairy butter for me with breakfast.
