You can tell they have an artistic spirit by just looking at the photos of the property, where you can see baskets hanging from the ceiling, nice large tables, cozy couches, and little knickknacks, often rock ‘n’ roll and other interesting themes throughout the rooms. The place is clean, the beds are comfortable, you can even ask for your laundry to be done at an additional charge to pay the woman who does it. It’s off of the busy street and so is quiet, but is still walking distance to interesting places and restaurants. They live with their family in one of the other units in the building, so they’re there readily available if the need arises. This is one of those unusual properties that one should feel privileged to stay at anywhere in the world, let alone at the relatively inexpensive rate for what is provided. This was one of the best experiences I had during my entire travels in India, and I like to think that we became friends, over time and cocktails. I have only positive things to say about the property and my interactions with this couple and their family.
