There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. The homestay features family rooms. Everything. Super clean. These guys paid attention to every single detail. From the plumbing to electrical wiring work, they’ve done it right. But that’s not even the best part. It’s the hospitality. Uncle Nima and Aunt made us feel like we visited a relatives home. You’re not gonna get service like this even on a 4 star hotel. I’ve never felt more welcomed at an inn. Uncle Nima even called our room as soon as we got back from MG Marg to check on us. When he told us to call him even from the next town we’re heading to if we needed help, you know he means it. Not to mention, aunty cooks so good. Everything she made was tasty and spot on. An unbelievable experience. I’m so glad I met them both. The next time I come, I’m staying much longer.

The hotel itself is a few kilometres above Gangtok. We stayed in one of the rooms with a balcony which I thoroughly recommend. Waking up to a fantastic view where the clouds kissed the mountains below really shouldn’t be missed. If you want to be surrounded by the hustle and bustle of MG Marg don’t stay here but if you want peace and quiet, fabulous views and the beautiful sound of birdsong, look no further.
