Actually the whole place feels cosy and helps relax. The free half ramen every evening was also a very nice touch. Also this hotel is very conveniently located: it's close to Matsue Castle, close to the Shimano Art Museum, close to locations where you can take beautiful pictures of the sun setting on lake Shinji, close to ferry terminals to go on lake Shinji, close to Matsue Shinjiko Onsen Station from where you can take the local Ichibata trains to places like Izumo or Matsue Vogel Park.

They do not clean the room daily but we had no issues as we stayed only for two nights The rooms are clean with a nice big window which had efficient black out curtains. The mattress was a little on the harder side. Location was convenient just a minute from the tram station to take you to the sights of Hiroshima. A good hotel at the right price with lots of space.

This hotel truely is fantastic.Easy to get to from Hiroshima train station, no 2 or no 6 tram stop 5 minute walk to hotel. It has a few really cool local restaurants and amazing coffee place around the corner on the river. And it is a ten minute walk from the hotel to peace park and city area. The room was amazing, huge for 3 adults, with a lounge area. Big bathroom and lovely toiletries, very generous with towels and super clean. Our room had a view of a temple, surrounded by high rises. It was the cheapest of our hotel bookings and way exceeded our expectations. Loved the hotel, awesome stay. Thank you hotel cla-ss.

An absolutely stunning hotel set in a beautifully renovated historic house that once belonged to a kimono merchant. The hotel is new, with designer interiors and a truly elegant atmosphere. We had a spacious room with a garden view. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding—on par with Michelin-starred restaurants. Perfectly located in the historic center. The staff were incredibly attentive and caring. This was probably the best hotel of our two-week trip. We will definitely return.
