Few things you should know when you travel Nuwara eliya. If you travel by your own vehicle there is no better place than this. This located between Nanuoya railway station and Nuwarael iya town. From the Appleton Villa to Nuwareliya town is exactly 5.9 Km which is 15 min to city center. What make you feel like as far is when the driver doesn’t know the road or else some Tuk Tuk driver want to charge extra that is why. Always take advise from the staff then you will be saved. Nuwara eliya itself is not a place to stay more than 2 days specially raining time. Overall we are quite happy with star class services.

Firstly, it is located in a beautiful place on a mountain with a view of tea plantations, the city and a Buddhist monastery. You can see it without getting out of bed. Secondly, we had a very nice spacious room with a large balcony, kitchen and a comfortable bed. There was excellent hot water, which is especially important for Nuwara Eliya. Special thanks to host Alex and his staff for their hospitality, desire to help, delicious breakfasts and lunches. For my wife and me, this is the best hotel in Nuwara Eliya

Ordered fish curry for dinner and it was really delicious and for that portion, the price is pretty cheap. They can arrange pickup from the train station. The room is really spacious for family up to 5 people! I was alone so i got all the 3 queen beds for myself lol the famous lover’s leap waterfall located just less than 2km from the house. I really recommend this stay!
