We park car directly in front of the cabin door for easy loading & unloading of luggages. Host is very thoughtful & has included several items in the cottage eg indoor slippers & turned on the indoor heating before we checked in to make us feel warm & welcome. Cottage exceeded our expectations & everyone in the family loves it. Nearest supermarket with a wider variety of groceries items is located at ICA Nära Riksgränsen. We also managed to catch beautiful northern lights (shades of green and red) in Bjorkliden & Abisko National Park during our 2 nights' stay. We will definitely return for a different season & stay here again!

You can really see the lake from your seat or bed and - whether permitting - see the Northern light in its fullest glory as ever moving curtains of light above the lake against the background of mountains. The only sounds are the wind whispering through the trees, the water ebbing and flooding softly against the shore and some occasional fish grasping your attention as are plenty of water birds. I found the sauna also a big bonus, again because of its location, cleanliness and authenticity: wooden fire flickering - no electrical stove :-)

Perfect location to see the northern lights; we were able to see it right from the balcony. The apartment is well equipped and there's a supermarket nearby within walking distance. The water was cold due to heater issues when we arrived on a Saturday, and the hosts were very responsive and quickly get the issue partially resolved on the day itself, and fully resolved by the next day.
