Did a small walk to a secluded and beautiful beach nearby but it is also possible to walk to pico cão grande. Dinner was great and breakfast too. Outside showers make the perfect ending for a hot day. You have to stop there for sure! Thanks Tomas!

Good breakfast and the evening meals were great, cooked by a private chef. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Very peaceful surrounded by trees, the waterfall and working farm. Erikson, the owner/ manager, was very responsive and provided information on things to do/ see. Highly recommend staying here but suggest need a high wheel base vehicle due to roads in the area.

This recently renovated homestay features a building dating back to 2010, which is 1.7 km from the Lagarto Beach. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Mr Luis was the perfect host. The grounds were beautiful. The place was clean and comfortable. The pool so refreshing and peaceful - perfect for cooling off each night. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Kitchen access was very convenient for preparing meals, along with a nice dining and living room area for relaxing, or socializing with other guests. Luis was always available to address any issues or answer any questions. We were able to keep our bags safely locked at the House while venturing over to Principe for 5 days, then return for another 3 days’ stay at Casa Luis. Luis made our trip to São Tomé seamless, pleasant and memorable.

The staff are very helpful and Tiziano the owner is so great and was on hand to help with planning. The food was also delicious.
