Very nice apartment in a quiet area of Eisenstadt, yet close to the town centre. Absolutely ideal for shorter vacations around the Neusiedler See area (10 minutes drive to Rust). Spotlessly clean. Mosquito net is installed on all windows, which makes possible to leave them open all night, which is a huge plus during summer. The kitchen is suitable for real cooking (not just food warming), and the large fridge and freezer is also good. Nice garden. Last but nut least, the host is friendly and helpful.

Illmitz is a great location for watching wildlife in the Austrian Neusiedler See National Park, and Hotel Post made for a very enjoyable base at which to stay. The staff were all very friendly and took the time to talk to us, what our interests were and to get to know us as people. It was a very relaxed area and it was nice to be able to eat in the bar alongside local people. Evening meals were very good traditional fare.
