The Location is amazing, the Staff and owner even better. 10/10 would highly recommend. Breakfast was great, dinner buffet was good. They offer tours and activities but don’t push you to buy anything. Great experience in an amazing environment.

Camp was clean and on a great location and very quiet. Food was very good and You get more than enough. Camp is small so You have a private Experience of desert which is great. But the best part is the owner Ibrahim and his friends, we spent the evening talking about everything we wanted to know about Oman and Omani lifestyle. Also, Ibrahim made the next morning very interesting with activities. Best Stay in the desert!

We absolutely loved our stay at Ayla. Like so many reviewers said before us: Everything is just right. The tent is comfortable and large, bathroom is way more than you would expect in a desert, the location is serene and far enough to get away from most of the light pollution but easy enough to reach, dinner and breakfast were both delicious. Mohamed was very welcoming and helpful. We would not only recommend this camp but also plan to visit it again next time we are near Muscat.

Great location at the foot of a big dune, while still being reachable by a normal car (no 4x4 needed). Beautiful setup with tents and little houses, very clean and spacious. The staff is amazing, would do anything for you. The food is fine, and there is enough for everyone. I liked the open roof shower, especially at night as you could see the moon and stars! The camp is more affordable in comparison with other camps in the area, but the activities have crazy prices. We ended up not booking a any acricitiy at the camp, but enjoyed the stars after the lights go off and woke up early to walk up the dune. Took us about 15min to walk all the way up for sunrise.

The service was exceptional, and everything exceeded our expectations. Both dinner and breakfast were outstanding—delicious in every way. We enjoyed a wonderful picnic during breakfast, which was truly memorable. The night sky was breathtaking, and we had a fantastic time sandboarding on the dunes. Our kids had a blast playing in the sand and trying out sandboarding themselves. Sultan was amazing—he and Benjamin were so friendly and helpful, keeping our kids entertained during the sandboarding. The tent was charming and comfortable, though the separate outdoor toilet was not an issue for us. We also went on a safari game drive to spot camels and sheep with one of the staff (we forgot his name), and the drive through the desert was beautiful. He was very kind to take some photos and videos for us. The pickup from the car to the camp was a fantastic experience as well. Overall, the whole experience was superb!!

The experience was exceptional and the beauty of the place is indescribable. In addition, the host of the place was extremely kind. He helped us get to know the place and welcomed us with great warmth.

Activities: dune bashing, camel ride, dinner in the dunes Our host was so friendly and really good to talk to. Amazing hospitality! To experience the desert was a highlight of our trip!

Great location right next to dunes, you can go for a walk in the desert to see incredible sunset/sunrise but safari tour is higly recomended and worth every riyal! :) Hamet and Abdullah are both kind and helpful. We had a great time! :D
