Beautiful tradition house, very clean with suitable facilities and kitchen access.

The location is superb - just across the street from the San Luis beach. The hostess was very helpful with whatever issues would arise. Also, she made us her home made ceviches, which were absolutely yummy :) Thank you!

The location is great if you want to be near the beach but not too close to the busyness of the town. You can take public transportation to get around the island —just signal to the bus, and it will stop (it was 5,000 pesos on February 25). A bit more about the flat: it has everything you need, including very comfy beds (with air conditioning) and a super clean shower. Keep in mind that you're on an island, so there's no hot water, and the water pressure isn't perfect—but again, that's to be expected. The kitchen is well-equipped for basic cooking, and there's a store just a 2-minute walk away where you can buy essentials. The owner is also very caring. If you need anything, she will help you (I locked myself out, and she came to assist me—she lives on the first floor). I stayed for four nights, and it was great. You can book with peace of mind. Also, as of February, she only accepted cash payments, so make sure to have enough on hand. She mentioned wanting to offer card payments in the future, but it's uncertain when that will be available, so be prepared for that.

What a lovely place! Delicious breakfast, beautiful decor, tranquil location, a short walk to a restaurant and the beach. Shy but sweet chickens and dogs. Owners on premises. Lizzie and Luis did everything to make me feel welcome, safe, and happy. A fantastic value. It’s like a small private villa. At half the prices in the center of town. It’s away from the fray, good for those who want peace and quiet. If you want action rent a mule or stay in town.
