We had a wonderful time at Maze Lodge in the middle of the jungle! Sure the road is a little bumpy but nothing a 4x4 car (we had a Suzuki Jimny) can't handle...a little adventure ride for free :) We want to thank our hosts Frida and Alexander so much for hospitality and their support! Perfect location to walk straight onto the beach. Amazing staff. If you are interested in nature and the environment I recommend asking the knowledgable manager, Tomas. We look forward to our next visit, and staying longer.

It’s got a great driveway, spacious house with two levels, great mosquito netting that goes around the bed, 3 bathrooms, lovely pets including a friendly parrot 🦜 and the outside patio is well kept and the pool stylish (and illuminated in the evenings!). We stayed for 6 nights with Geraldo and his family and they were very welcoming and even gave us fresh bananas and coconut waters daily. His wife did our washing and folded it really neatly. We were never bored as there is so much to do on the Osa Peninsula and we really missed the place and all the people and animals living there when we left. We saw squirrel monkeys from the balcony in the morning and saw macaws fly over the house regularly.

All meals were excellent, served in the wonderful restaurant that has a vaulted ceiling yet is open at ground level. Staff were extremely helpful in arranging transport for us both to and from the hotel. Cannot fault the staff who were friendly and very efficient. Thoroughly recommend.

Finca Kobo is beautifully located in the nature. In the morning we walked around the finca and encountered many monkeys. Staff very nice. Would definitely recommend and come back next time.

Danta Corcovado Lodge offers its guests a library, Wi-Fi access in public areas free of charge and extensive gardens. Tea and coffee services are available from 06:00 to 22:00 hours.

Our 2nd visit and we extended it further once we got there. The staff are brilliant (and helped me with improving my Spanish) and the place is unique. We like the Canta Rana bungalow best as it has a lagoon around it, but they are all privately located in the jungle. The dinner deal is great value and good food. There are trails to walk and animals and birds all around. One of our favourite places and we've travelled to over 60 countries. Thanks Merlin and team.

The end of civilisation is hard to find on this planet. But here it is. In a relatively comfortable way. With home made food and drinks and fruits and private open air showers. A wonderfull nature experience.

200 metres from Playa Pavones, Coconut Lodge Pavones is a recently renovated property situated in Pavones and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking.

The location is pretty good. You can go everywhere by foot. The Room is very clean and the kitchen has a lot of features like smoothiemaker, Ricecooker etc. Also the Family who runs this place is very frendly and helpful. They offer daily cleaning services, pick you up at the busstation and let you borrow their bikes. I can only recommend to stay here in Pavones!
