Myself and my boyfriend came to the Pentland Shepherd Huts to celebrate our anniversary and we had the best time! The hut was extremely clean and comfortable, absolutely perfect for a romantic weekend. It is an amazing location as it didn't take us too long to get into Edinburgh but we also weren't too far from lovely little towns such as Peebles. Lyn was great with communicating and we even got to meet their pygmy goats and shetland ponies, definitely a highlight of the trip! The hot tub was also heated for our arrival which was a great way to settle into our weekend. Would definitely recommend to other couples or friends who want a cosy weekend away!

We visited Leithen Lodge this summer and what a remarkable place! The house was just so spacious, that all our chirdren had the luxury of their own bed and our eldest thought she was a little princess with her own tiny room. The location is beautiful and more than relaxing. The weather was just fine, so we did 3 days around Edinburgh. We went to the city, to a little shop called Build-a-bear en of course we visited the Edinburgh Zoo with a remarkeble view on the Scottish nature. We felt ourselves really at home, cause of the friendly owner of this place. It was a real treat that we spend a few days in Leithen Lodge. A big thank you to you, Sir!

We had a wonderful stay at this cosy wood cabin in Biggar. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. The log fire, with plenty of wood provided, added such a warm and special touch to our evenings. The location is peaceful and quiet, yet very convenient - just 4 minutes from the town centre, 10 minutes from our wedding venue at Cornhill Castle, and only 25 minutes from Peebles. A perfect little retreat!

One of the best places I've stayed in the UK. You are straight into beautiful hills out the back door but also convient for getting to the city (where I was working). Clean, very comfortable. Grant was quick to respond to questions. Would recommend to anyone.
