Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Transport to and from Chuo terminal on arrival and departure was great. In addition, hotel offered evening transport to and from the village centre which was an additional welcomed service

The lodge was incredible. First the wonderful family who run the lodge contacted me to make sure they knew what time I was arriving in Nozawaonsen, they met me off the shuttle bus with their caterpillar car to drive me up to the lodge which is at the bottom of the slopes. Right to the door of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and spoke brilliant English , my Japanese is really bad so this was a great help. They told me the safest ways down I to town and made sure I understood so I was safe. Each morning a beautiful breakfast was supplied. The views were breathtaking and the atmosphere was very homely. I got to know other guests very well. Which was lovely as I was traveling alone. When my last day came they made sure they knew what bus I was getting back to Iiyama station and drove me and my bags down the mountain again to the bus stop. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I really want to go back next year! Thank you so much for my lovely stay!

Even so I stayed only one night, I felt felt really welcomed from the first step in the Hotel. The owner was very friendly and warm. They cooked a very good dinner for me. After a perfect and silent night in the very cozy bed. I enjoyed a great breakfast before I was driven by car to the bus station by the owner. I can absolutely recommend this place.

Excellent accommodation. Very comfortable for our family of 5. Our kids had one room with 3 beds and another room for us. The kitchen was clean and modern with everything you could need, even a rice cooker. The location is very close to the ski lifts 5-8min walk and the town in 5 mins walk down the hill.
