The manager told us a lot of interesting things about the surrounding farm. We also did a hike to the viewpoint with a guide from the village which was really nice. Accomodation was very nice with good views. Last but not least, we had dinner at the location and it was the best one we had during our entire Sri Lanka trip.

It’s a beautiful house with beautiful gardens. The caretakers are fabulous. Breakfast was delicious.

I had a wonderful stay here! The location is perfect, very convenient for exploring Kandy city. For us it was an amazing week that we did not expect the peace of the place, and the ease of getting around. Asela drove us to Kandy any time, we didn't know is was so close, and the drive so easy. It was actually nicer for us to be out of the city and Ascela took us around at a very low cost, we used messaging and always on time to meet us. Restaurants are interesting in town but we enjoyed eating at the home-stay because the food was very very good & healthy, such a beautiful place to look over the valley & their own vegetable & herb garden! We liked going on walks, magnificent views, and Asela actually gave us a little hiking tour! In Kandy, there are tourists like us- at Tedro we had privacy, but also felt part of the community when we took walks. There is a TV but we never used it. We will be back, some day, and we do recommend this precious experience to anyone that wants good food, good sleep (the bed is great, view is really nice) access to town& the sights. In fact, we ended up going on a longer excursion to Siguria with Asela as our driver! He kindly got us there and back safeley, and gave us a lot of space for personal privacy as we did our own exploring. He is a very good guide and his family - downstairs from the room & porches - is respectful.

Nice place with comfortable beds. it's a newly build hotel. Host gave us a free drop service to the railway station. calm and quite atmosphere. They have rooms with river view balconies.

spacious rooms and neatly organized. Location was also fine, we were able to walk and get a tuktuk at one night otherdays we had car. Steps are also not much, elders can also manage.
