Fantastic location on a remote island, a 25 minute drive from the Tromso airport. Beautifully designed interior. This is such a great alternative to a busy hotel downtown. The hosts' helpfulness is off the scale, including de-snowing the 1km+ access road at 1am to make it easier for me to get home in heavy weather after a northern lights trip.

A beautiful house in a great location. A lot of living and sleeping space, even too much for 2 people. Electric sauna is included, hot tub was not working in the winter. The location is great for hiking or aurora spotting, although you might need to get a little farther from the street lights. Inside the house there's everything you need, from hot water, kitchenware & appliances, up to heaters and warm bed linen, needed in the winter time. No problems with checking in and out, even at a late hour. You may park beside the house or at a small parking up the hill, by the main road (around 100 meters from the house), depending on the car you drive and your driving confidence.
