Stayed 1 night, very clean, very comfortable, and very spacious. One of the better motels we've stayed at for 1 night in hanmer, we've stayed in a few. Loveliest hosts and provided towels for the hot pools. Bonus tavern come restaurant right next door and located on main street in hanmer so all amenities close by. Would definitely book again.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at 8 on Oregon. The views are incredible, the space is so lovely and private. The hosts were lovely and helpful. Lots of extra touches, like towels for the pools, and all the amenities.

Just 300 metres from the Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools, Kakapo Lodge boasts a guest lounge with a log fireplace and a large communal kitchen and dining area.

We liked being out of town in peaceful countryside . There were enormous sliding windows opening on to a terrace with outdoor furniture. The view from the accommodation was a magnificent range of mountains.
