It’s a good location close to the beach and restaurants. The lodge is beautiful with lawnchairs and lounges outside in a nice garden. Beachchairs available at 2 locations by the beach, only 5 min away. Breakfast was also great. Staff is very friendly and helpful, I enjoyed my stay a lot. Thank you!

The property is perfect, the breakfast was amazing! The pool is a perfect place to stay in the evening or when you just want to relax for a bit. Staying is this hotel was beautiful experience - hotel is located at the very end of beach and gives an escape from bysy Kiwengwa beach. You can relax at hotel and have some fun at the beach - best of both. Infinity pool and view from it was best feature - no other hotel in Zanzibar has view like Shooting Star. Breakfast was good, staff was very welcoming and helpful. If you want peaceful stay, beautiful views and still be close to activities and local restaurants - this is the best hotel. One additional recommendation - when staying at this hotel - have dinner/lunch at Amour restaurant nearby - you will not regret it.
