The owner of Ridgeview as well as the personell are just the most friendly people you´ll ever meet. They make amazing english breakfast as well as drinks in the evening, and if you want to get a ride through the city they can organize that as well. I was working in Durban and stayed at Ridgeview for 3 weeks, and the team at Ridgeview really made me feel like i was right at home every single day! So, if you want to visit Durban, which i would highly recommend, i suggest you stay at Ridgeview. There is just no place quite like it.

Staff were very friendly, facilities were very clean. Bathrooms very clean aswell. Cost was not bad as we needed to stay a night after the SA Rugby match.

I can definitely recommend this lodge! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and I even got a free room upgrade with a stunning sea view. If you’re lucky, you can spot dolphins right from there as well. The location is perfect – all the good dive centers are just a 5-minute walk away, as are the restaurants. Right next to the lodge there’s also a nice pub with good food at fair prices.

With Umkomaas Beach reachable in 2.4 km, Sea Fever Lodge provides accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a shared lounge. Free WiFi is provided.
