Everything was perfect. The location was excellent, the view was beautiful, the room was delightful and the reception from the staff was great.

Saxon Lodge was one of the best places to stay during our three week vacation in South Africa. The owners in particular were always very friendly and genuinely interested in us. We felt at home right from the start. All our questions were answered at all times. We were given an upgrade due to minor building work on our room. The location of the accommodation is perfect and the view of the harbor is magnificent. Thank you! We would stay here again at any time.

We just stayed for one night, but we would definitively stay there again.There is a gascooker and some rechargeable lamps, which is very nice during loadshedding. The beds are very comfortable. The host was welcoming and gave us recommendations for whalewatching cruises (marine dynamics). If you're looking for a nice breakfast before your marine big 5 tour, visit the great white house.

Breakfast outstanding. The views from the room is magnificient. And on top of everything Nigel and the team took great care of making our 3 days just wonderful.

I recently stayed at the charming Blombos Self-Catering House in Gansbaai, and it was a delightful experience. The cozy two-bedroom farmhouse offered stunning views of the mountains, the lush cow fields, and the nearby beach, creating a perfect blend of tranquility and beauty. The facilities on site include farm animals, with possibilities to be fed and pet! There's a nursery, great for morning walks. A few options of hiking the mountain and endemic cape nature. These hikes range from short to long! I especially loved relaxing by the pond, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature, making it an ideal getaway. The braai facility is equipped with wood and utensils. The facility has ample space for al-fresco dining.

Where dreams come true: We were spoiled for comfort, attention, care in these magnificent surroundings! The building is intriguingly designed, one feels like on a ship in the dunes. In the evening, spectacular sunset views await. At night, it's a perfect location for star gazing. With any weather, the views on the sea and mountains are spectacular! The central fire place makes the mornings and evenings comfy and cozy. The food is all freshly prepared with fresh ingredients and very tasty. The host family are the warmest and gentlest we've ever met. "Be at home", they said. We were.

Mosaic was from start to finish a magical place. The room, food and everything else was top notch.

Secluded and well equipped. Fabulous views and the hot tub was lovely particularly under the stars. We swam in the lake and that was really good too. We loved our stay.
