Everything from start to finish was perfect and without doubt the customer service was nothing short of exceptional, we will most certainly return to Kampana river lodge.

Exceptional service in an exceptional location. once you’ve done a safari in a private reserve you will never look back, and this is the best lodge in the best reserve. Made to feel very special, all the staff knew our names from the moment we arrived. Game drives all stunning, good fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. already plotting our return, and this time we will bring friends and family to share it with. Justice and Elvis were the best of hosts on the game drives.

The accommodation was stunning, food was delicious, staff across all sectors were brilliant! Our Safari guides is what made the experience so incredible...Eleck & Lebu really made our trip so memorable! We saw the big 5 in 2 days & they went above & beyond to make sure we had the best trip possible! Thank you so much to you both!!

We spent 2 nights here and loved every second. The lodge is pristine and finished to perfection. So many beautiful details in the decor and the outdoor area. The staff were welcoming and super attentive, we never had to ask for a drink refill. The food was AMAZING, three course meals with some choices. But of course, the highlight was the twice daily drives, guides were super friendly and we saw 4 of the big 5. Tea and coffee and snacks and drinks served during the drive. The fine detail of our stay was incredible. This newly opened lodge is a gem and we feel lucky to have experienced it.

The luxury tents were very comfortable and had a great view over the dam. Unfortunately the hippos had decided to stay in another dam opposite but we got to see lots of monkeys/baboons, giraffe, zebras and even a Warthog. The staff were fantastic and we were very well looked after. Unfortunately it rained a fair bit but we kept ourselves occupied in the main lodge with various games. Sly was amazing on the game drive and walk and extremely passionate and knowledgable.

We had a great time there and had amazing guides who went over and about to make the experience the best possible!
