We had an exceptional stay at Halali. Our room and en suite were much bigger than we anticipated. Beautiful, clean, luxurious. It had excellent air con that kept us cool even on extremely hot days and nights. The pics we saw beforehand didn't do it justice, it exceeded our expectations. The breakfasts were superb as were our suppers. The chef was very welcoming and friendly and went out of his way to accommodate tricky allergies. All of the staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. Peter, the manager, is quite likely the best host we've ever had. He even came out late one night to check on our lights, and warn us of a potential storm. We had a great game drive. Saw so much, and for the very first time saw Golden Wildebeest, which are very rare.

The photos don’t do this property justice. It was so much nicer than expected! Every little detail has been well thought out and adds to the charm of this lodge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back and have already booked another stay for 2026.

The property had an excellent view over the bushveld. It was peaceful and felt secluded. The kitchen and braai facilities were plentiful. Shared the property site with a few ostriches, impala, wildebeest. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was really nice, Florence took really good care of us and she was patient with us
