We loved being on the water with the resident hippos. There was a large area in which we could walk around. The locals were very welcoming and invited us to watch rugby on TV with them. The manager was warm and helpful.

Absolutely everything was perfect. I simply could not have asked for anything more. We felt extremely safe, we were well fed and had so much fun doing all the different activities. Tomjachu Bush Retreat is absolutely perfect for people wanting to explore African nature at their own pace and be safe whilst doing so (thanks to the electrically fenced massive estate keeping dangerous animals and humans away). We are vegetarian and Tomjachu Bush Retreat accomodated us with super delicious vegetarian meals throughout our stay. I dont have anything to complain.

Wonderful surroundings, wonderful host. The rooms are very clean, quiet and spacious. The owner is exceptionally warm and friendly and gives excellent tips that make the overall stay very enjoyable. We felt extremely comfortable in this guesthouse.

My brief stay at Crocodile River Lodge was fantastic. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure I felt at home. The lodge's cozy atmosphere and scenic views of the Crocodile River made for a perfect retreat. Plus, the pool was amazing! The place is very calm, quiet, and great for relaxation. I wish I could have stayed longer and definitely plan to return for a more extended stay in the future. I highly recommend this lodge for anyone seeking a memorable and comfortable stay in the area.

Everything. Such a beautiful setting, friendly and dedicated staff. Comfortable bed and spacious room with lovely touches like Sherry, chocolates and rusks provided. The breakfast was delicious, with gorgeous views. Quiet and safe neighbourhood with gated parking.
