We had an amazing stay at Kandalama Lodge in Dambulla. The place is peaceful, beautifully designed, and blends perfectly with nature. Our room was clean, comfy, and had a lovely outdoor bathroom. The pool was spotless and perfect for cooling off. The food was delicious – I especially loved the barramundi fish! What really made the experience special was the staff, especially Madushan, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Highly recommend this hidden gem! I don’t recommend the airport transfer service.

When we were stuck Sadeepa came and directed us to the place quickly. ⁃ Sadeepa helped us find a nice local national park mineera (only half an hour away by car) where we could get a safari experience and see nature in its natural form. ⁃ stellar service while only being one call away. ⁃ The whole family including the grandparents came and greeted us when we were leaving, it really made us feel like we were at home. Overall, it’s a 10/10 for my family and I. It was a wonderful experience and we would love to come again.

The room has enough space, clean and the beds are huge with comfortable mattresses. It is located in a quiet area, the air is so fresh at night time so we sleep without fan. We asked them if they could provide us with dinner and breakfast and it exceeded our expectations. They provided us with a delicious home cooked meal and fresh fruits straight from their own garden. We were in sri lanka for the first time and this was our first destination so we didnt really know how to get around and they took us everywhere with their tuktuks, arranged a good massage and a safari and helped us with finding the bus to trincomalee.
