The location is quiet, amongst many other similar lodges, and set within a woodland area next to a park. We chose the location specifically to sample rural Dutch life, out with the tourist areas of Amsterdam and other cities. The closest small town is Haarle, which is only a five minute drive away, which is very pleasant and well maintained. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. The location provided the opportunity to drive into Amsterdam, Nijmegen and other areas within Holland and it was only roughly a 90-minute drive into Osnabruck in Germany. The hosts were friendly and helpful when asked for information about supplies and bike rental, responding quickly with relevant information.
