Many birds and small wild life in the lodge. Expeditions organised by the lodge are various and with excellent guide (Moses). The swimming pool is a plus. Cook is great. Bungalows are very confortable. We highly recommend !

Let’s be clear: keeping such a hotel working in a national park demands lots of logistics (they’re not even allowed to do laundry on site , everything linen and food is transported on boats and then by hand!). Their team works like crazy to keep this experience great and they can be proud. Of course it’s not a traditional 5* and the insect experience could be rough to some but you can’t imagine anything better in such a remote location. Truly a memorable experience, knowledgeable and welcoming guides. This is one trip we’ll always remember.

Very easy access and very friendly for early arrivals that you could checkin immediately and start your venture to the jungle as soon as possible. We had wonderful two days there that everything was beyond my expectations. The suite with balcony to river views were superb, very comfortable and I could stay there all day. The staffs there were friendly and welcoming. The inclusive activities were well organised and interesting! I would love to comeback.

The hotel provides a free shuttle service to and from Padre Aldamiz International Airport. Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion is accessed via a 10-minute ride from the airport then a 25-minute boat ride from Puerto Maldonado port. This lodge exceeded our expectations. Amazing meals. Beautiful wild setting. Clean, spacious, comfortable rooms. Excellent guided tours (our guide Uriel was magnificent and fabulous at spotting wildlife.) The boat trips along the rivers were surreal, especially the morning breakfast boat out to see the wild parrots on the clay licks. The pickup and luggage storage services were added bonuses. This definitely requires a three night stay (which we did) 4 nights would have been out of this world.

From our friendly tuk tuk driver Jaime, who picked us up from the airport, to the final breakfast at this outstanding family run business, we enjoyed every second of our stay here. Rolan and his family took great care of us, the home cooked meals were sensational and the trips arranged by our hosts showed us the best this location can offer. Nothing was too much trouble - if you want to experience an authentic stay in the rainforest with excellent food and company, this is the place for you!
