The tastefully decorated chalets are fully equipped and some of them offer views. Each unit comes with a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. Everything: the place is lovely, there are opportunities to walk around and observe the old mining ventilation shaft, the breakfast is outstanding.(homemade meat, cheese and other supplements). The view is adorable and hospitality of owners is amazing. Cleanliness is on top as well as all facilities in the cottage, nothing to be improved. The super comfy cottage we have and nice terrace

This lodge is a must-visit on a trip to Kruger park or back just for relaxing. I very rarely rate hotels as 10, but this is one of the few.

I felt very safe and secure there. A delightful bonus was seeing giraffe feeding on the trees so close to the walking path just steps from the guest house door! I also saw a warthog and some impala very nearby the place as well. It was a lovely experience staying here! I loved sitting on the porch watching the sunset and hearing the birds singing in the mornings! The hosts Zelda and George were very kind and made sure I found the place alright. They were also very responsive to my questions and concerns.

The guest house is a very cute brick house with good amenities and a lot of space! It is nothing fancy, but fits well in the spirit of the place. We really enjoyed the attention for ecology that the owner has instated. The host is adorable, very available, had good tips (he actually even gave us tips via message before we even arrived to the property) and… most importantly, he fixed our car that had a windshield problem when we arrived (thanks again for that!).

Skukuza Airport is 23 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. One of the best camps we’ve ever been. Done previously many safaris , so I can fairly compare. This place is not about artificial ( and sometimes stupid) over-luxury ; it goes straight to the point of what a great bush camp should be . Tents are very comfy, new and clean , food is above expectations, perfect location. But what makes this place very special is the staff .. they are all incredibly good and make you feel that managing and running a camp in the bush seems the easiest thing in the world ( and we know it is not)… they really deserve a “Bravo!” Safari to kruger ( 15 minutes to reach the gate) included in the rates , and also very close to Sabi sands; they arrange safari there ( try at least once) for a small extra cost . With all this next to your camp, you’ll have the chance to spot the big five and many more animals in very few days. Overall a wonderful stay for newbie and also for weathered safari guys . price/quality ratio 10 on 10… amazing ! Thank you all guys, and see you very soon again!

Nicolette and Matthew have put thought and love into so many small details that make their place charming, romantic, and perfect. The breakfast and dinners were all well presented, abundant and delicious. Nicolette also introduced us to a fantastic game drive guide, Christelle. We would not hesitate to send any of our friends and family here! We researched so many place in and around Marloth Park. If you’re looking at this property, book it! You won’t regret it.

Very kindly, helpful, available and the meals were delicious. The place is nice and very near of the access to Kruger. They also make a meal if you are taking a game drive early morning. Really recommended
