I stayed at the villa for four days to celebrate my birthday with friends, and I can’t recommend it enough! The property is absolutely incredible—it looks even more stunning in person than in the photos. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The host was incredibly warm and attentive, making sure everything was perfect for our stay. She went above and beyond, helping us with everything from ordering delicious food from a nearby restaurant to arranging taxis and even planning a memorable birthday dinner. This was my first time in Albania, and the entire trip exceeded my expectations. If I ever return, I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation!

Fantastic reception from the lovely couple who runs the hotel. They were always there to be of service. Breakfast was great, very tasty with a little variety each morning. Got a lift to the airport for a very good price from the hotel so I’m sure you could arrange to be picked up from the airport too …

Our bedroom and bathroom were really spacious and beautifully designed. The hotel provided adequate options for breakfast. We enjoyed amenities like swimming pool and rooftop terrace with nice views. Free parking was accessible nearby.

Location of the hotel is very nice, close to the beach and at the same time close to the center so u can walk everywhere. Breakfast was good, room was very clean and the whole staff is super friendly, helpful and nice so the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend this hotel. I had a very pleasant time with my boyfriend:)

Absolutely amazing hospitality and service quality! Highly recommended for a great holiday at the beach, just steps away. Newly built, comfortable and cosy family-run hotel offering delicious fresh breakfast. Free parking place available, location is very good. Price/quality/service ratio is best. Where do I begin? I have stayed at many hotels in the past, but the service I was provided at the Grand Duka is honestly the best! This hotel ticks every box! Location-wise wise it is so close to everything! The Beach, Nightlife, Bars, & Restaurants were walking distance away (cabs to and from the hotel and bars were relatively cheap as well). The hotel is absolutely beautiful, it's modern, minimalistic, with a neutral tone that flows through the property. Rooms are just as impressive, they were so clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was great too- so many people asked me where I was staying! The spa & wellness centre was well-kept and very clean! All of the gym equipment worked properly, and they had a variety of machines to choose from. The spa facilities were a great way to relax (I spent a lot of time in there!) The restaurant and bar were great, and the breakfast menu had lots of variety to choose from! The dinner options were well-made and delicious! The bar and bar staff were great, providing great customer service & recommending drinks (my favourite was the Aperol Spritz!) The staff are some of the friendliest and helpful people I have come across when staying at a hotel - they greeted us with a smile every day, they made excursion recommendations for us to make the most of our holiday, and they would always ask if there was anything they could do to help! I would like to give a special shout-out to Anisa, the Marketing Manager; she was amazing, such a lovely lady, and super friendly! We were celebrating my Sister's 23rd birthday, she went over and above to help make sure it was special, assisting with getting special decorations, planning the surprise, and the cake! Honestly, Grand Duka was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had! If I ever find myself back in Durrës I know exactly where I'll be staying!
