The cutest little farming community where the people are still courteous and kind. We don’t speak much Spanish but everyone we encountered used what English they knew to help us out. Great people. Beautiful grounds but we had a horrible check in experience. Despite the website stating that there is a 24/7 front desk, we arrived to a locked gate. After calling the phone number several times, a security guard finally came out who did not speak English and claimed we did not have a reservation, despite us showing our booking confirmation. We had to argue for over 2 hours behind a locked gate. It was humiliating and we would have left if there were any other hotels with availability nearby.
