Mario and his family greeted us upon arrival, and everyone was incredibly friendly. The location is truly paradise. Beautiful wooden architecture. Accessible via single lane road off the main road in Andelsbuch. Very close to Bregenzerwald Käsehaus. I recommend asking for the Gäste-Card first thing (gives access to the local cable cars for hikes), and you can visit the Tourist Information ℹ️ office in nearby Egg if you need any help registering for the card as well. Beautiful part of the world and we hope to be back!

Excellent location, superbly furnished, clean and fresh, kind and helpful staff, excellent cuisine. I especially liked the pamphlets that arrived at the breakfast table with the weather forecast and inspirational quotes and information. There were also printed dinner menus each evening.

    The property sits in a beautiful farm country. The self-check in process was simple and easy. The hotel is clean! No AC in the rooms so be advised they can get a little stuffy. The breakfast was great with a lot of local ingredients and the breakfast staff was friendly and conversational (even in English:). The ping pong table in the basement added a lot of evening competitive fun! The whole property sits in a tranquil and peaceful area and it is great for resetting and recharging.

    I have traveled a lot both world wide for business and four months on the road each year, I have to say this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Clean tidy spaces rooms, good location and an excellent breakfast. The host was a warm friendly guy who spoke good English and went out of his way to accommodate. All hotels should be like this.

    Warm welcome and quiet nice place. Great service and customer care. Andelsbuch is great for hiking, visiting local towns and places of interest. Guesthouse Pension Barbara is very good choice for paragliding pilots and other form of active tourism.
