The breakfast was typical with a large selection of cheeses, hams, jams, fruits,... But the real attraction was the dinner. I have not yet eaten such good food for such a low price. The room had a lovely smell of a freshly cut wood. The staff in general was very friendly and useful and made us feel very welcome. The location is great for exploration of the Defereggental.

We knew the property was fairly remote - towards the end of a beautiful valley. But we hadn't anticipated just how much its location would be such a powerful positive. Beauty amidst stillness. The facilities, kitchen, etc, exceeded our expectations given the price-point. And a balcony, too, to sit, read, and look at the scenery. Although remote, Virgen itself - with free parking - was a quick drive away - cafes, great coffee shop/bakery and a well-stocked supermarket, and there were some great walks from the doorway, plus some amazing ones twenty minutes away in the car. The waterfalls beyond Hochbichl left us breathless in awe. Irene was a great host, welcoming us warmly and coming back almost immediately with any queries we had.

Everything!!! The apartment has everything you need, plus a big wood balcony, in front of the Dolomites!!! Simply AWESOME! To reach it you also pass by stunning nature! Really incredible! The owner also a plus! Super nice woman, she welcomed us inside, gave us suggestions... Hopefully we'll be back!!! Top top top
