A must-see for those interested in Celts and Mining. The "Salzbergwerk Dürrnberg" is much much more interesting, than the overfamous "Salzbergwerk Hallstatt". Celtic Museum in Hallein ist really of value. The town itself has a very limited number of places to dine. We stayed in a beautiful room on the ground floor, large, very comfortable and furnished with high quality furnishings. The food at the restaurant was exceptional. The breakfast also. Wide variety of breakfast food provided all of an exceptional quality. Pet friendly and parking right outside of the hotel. Road to the hotel is quite steep, but nothing to worry about. It is managed by the lady, who was really nice, talkative, helpful and answered all of our questions. Room was good, clean, in old fashioned design with comfortable bed. It had a magnificient view at the mountains nearby. You can park next to the hotel. Family who runs the hotel lives in the house next to it, so we met daily. They are very nice and have a nice cute small cat. :)Guest review byAdamSlovakia

The additional facilities that were offered (fridge, washing machine, dryer etc.) were a wonderful touch and the cleanliness of the entire hotel rounded of the experience perfectly.
