This was our second time at Baranekhof and it was just as fantastic as the first. A lovely, family-run place with a warm, traditional atmosphere. Everything is very clean, the staff are super friendly, and the location is perfect; peaceful yet close to many activities. The breakfast is delicious with a great variety. Highly recommended!

We recently stayed at Lederer hotel in Kaprun and we were thoroughly impressed. The location is perfect, offering breathtaking views of the Alpe. The rooms were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with all the amenities one could need. One of the highlights was the Kaprun Summer Card, which the hotel provided. This card gave us free or discounted access to many attractions and activities in the region, including the stunning Kitzsteinhorn Glacier and scenic lake cruises. It added incredible value to our trip and made exploring Kaprun and the surrounding areas so much more enjoyable.  Overall, Lederer hotel  provided an outstanding experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kaprun.

Location was good to enjoy surrounding areas. It was nice to have breakfast and dinner included in our stay which was what we chose. There was a good selection of food to choose from the buffet at both meal times and the dinner main was a selection from the menu which varied each day, all of our choices were delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was parking onsite but for a fee, free parking was around the block. The pool facilities looked lovely but we didn’t have a chance to use them.

Cozy restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Very high quality food, served buffet style. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff was able to accommodate our needs for additional pillows and blankets. Location is excellent. Right between the main village and the Kitzsteinhorn gondola. We will most certainly be staying at this property again in the future.

Everything was excellent — the staff were super friendly, the food was delicious, and both breakfast and dinner were served as a well-organized buffet. The place was clean with breathtaking views.     Kaprun is a very nice place for someone interested in spending 3/4 days for outdoor activities and hiking in the nearby mountains. There are a lot of possibilities for visiting the mountains with the Teleferik although a bit expensive for a family of 4 persons.

    The Geography and skiing are everyone's reason for going to Kaprun. They are both excellent. The town itself was pretty quiet in early April. Pizza shops dominated the dining seen. Some of the business had Arabic words written on their signs. I don't believe that these words were necessary for Arab travelers, but detract from the authentic alpine atmosphere. The ski lift was my favorite facility. The Aplenhaus restaurant was the best place to eat. I would avoid going up the mountain on anything but the first lift in the moring

    Skiing Kaprun / Zell am See in March is excellent but the weather can be changeable . Also can be busy on the glacier at times and the route back to the Alpincentrr can be bumping and very congested. Great apres ski options at the bottom of the maiskogelbahn . Baumbar and Paletti are particularly excellent . The Bründl shop / ski hire location at the foot of the maiskogel provide lockers which are brilliant when you finish for the day to deposit your skis and boots , change into normal shoes and hit the apres ski entertainment. Great staff here as wel , always helpful and friendly

    Kaprun has a small town feel about it.

    Kaprun has a small town feel about it. Roads are kept clear and the area spotlessly clean. Everything we need for skiing or just enjoying a winter break is available. Fellow tourists and locals are all great company.

    Kaprun is nice location in general, we were close to many attractions and we had nice time outside the hotel, alos the views are nice and infinity pool is nice in the hotel.     I loved this family run hotel. All of the staff were helpful and attentive and the food was amazing. Great location ideal for the 2 main ski lifts with buses stopping literally outside. The sauna and swimming pool were also great to have to relax in the afternoon. Thank you to all the staff.

    Krimml is an beautiful place in Austria, Waterfall's are amazing - nothing to do with this hotel though.
