    It's easy to drive from there to the many lakes in Carinthia...

    It's easy to drive from there to the many lakes in Carinthia, as well as to Klagenfurt, and the hosts provide an abundance of catalogs and brochures on what else there is to do in the region. But it's also an absolute pleasure to just stay home, sit outside by the pool and have a swim, or just relax indoors. We are self catering, so we did our own shopping, and supermarkets are within a few minutes drive. The kitchen is very well equipped so we could cook whatever we wanted to cook. We can't wait to go back! Truly!

    Free hotel beach spot with free of charge changing rooms, toilets, chairs, umbrellas and paddle boards. Plus there was a bar with some food and drinks at the beach as well. The door to the bathroom were actual wooden door, providing more privacy. Big balcony with drier - helped with drying swim suits. Good location, next to the town (super market, restaurants) and 15 minutes from Klopeinersee lake. Dinner in hotel's restaurant was good and maybe a bit too luxurious looking. Personel spoken English on most occasions.

    We arrived in the hotel a few days before end of the season. There were only a few guests in the hotel, we nearly had the whole spa and saunas for ourselves! The staff was really nice, we never had the feeling of being "the unwanted last guests right before season ending". The new sauna and spa area is spacious, very clean. Our highlight was the lake sauna with a great view on the Klopeiner See. The rooms were tidy with modern bathrooms. Breakfast was plentyful.

    Very nice hotel. We stayed in an apartment separate from the main building. It was very spacious and comfortable, good amenities and air conditioning. The space by the lake with restaurant, loungers and little pier is great and was never overcrowded despite us visiting in the height of summer during a public holiday when the weather was hot hot.

    Hotel Tulpe is in a great location to the lake and offers very good value for money. The host is super friendly and helpful. The hotel offers free coffee and some drinks are provided in the lounge area. No breakfast is served but the restaurant/hotel across the road offers a buffet breakfast. Our e-bicycles were stored in a safe garage.
