We were welcomed very pleasantly. We were very happy to be able to check-in after check-in hours. We were even happier after hearing we are getting a free upgrade to a better room. The room was very clean and had stunning views of the lake. The bed was very comfortable. At the breakfast table we had a great view of the lake and the breakfast-buffet offered a large selection. The available underground car park was very convenient. The highlight was the wellness area, which was accessible through a underground tunnel. The outdoor pools are comfortably warm (34 degrees) and the finish saunas are great. We really enjoyed sunbathing in the textile and textile free area, we felt very comfortable due to great sight protection. The privat access to the lake was also very cool and calming.

Beautiful place. It's situated in quiet place right on the shore of the Wolfgangsee. We liked to walk to and from St. Wolfgang on the foothpath by the lake. Our Junior Suite had nice terrace and view to the lake. Bed was very comfortable. We also liked the way the how the breakfast was served.

Everything, literally everything. It's almost like family at this traditional Austrian hotel. Rooms maybe be small but very carefully and well equipped. Kids play area and private lake area complete the experience. Staff and owners were so so considerate it was exceptional. Marjorie, Alexandria and Hugo really put their heart in this property. Beautiful location, with a fabulous view from the balcony! Lovely sunbathing and swimming area, with bar and snacks in good weather. Very friendly and helpful staff. Although not high-end fittings, it was full of charm and was a lovely place to be. There was an honesty bar for when the lakeside bar was closed, so you could have a relaxing drink on the balcony. A good continental breakfast with eggs cooked to order. Would definitely recommend and would happily return.

    A more beautiful peaceful vacation could not be imagined. The mountains are breathtaking. The quietness speaks to you, and I left feeling more peaceful than I have in years. We were there in May, and I understand the tourist scene in June and July is a bit busier. There is a lot to do in the village besides gazing at the scenery. Delicious eats, friendly hosts, charming souvenir shops and the ferry that goes up and down the St Wolfgangsee are some of the delights.

    I love this little town.

    I love this little town. It is a great location for exploring other areas, but the town itself is beautiful. We got to see them raise the May Pole and have a bit of a festival with dancing, music, and great food and drinks!

    St Wofgang is a small, beautiful town situated right on the lake. A good amount of restaurants and shops. The town had a music festival and dance performance outside while we were there. Seems like there are always things going on at the weekend in the spring/summer. We enjoyed a boat ride on the lake, visited Hallstadt and the saltmines there, and took the cog railroad up the mountain for amazing views of the whole area. We stayed for five nights and it was perfect.

    Excellent place with so many possibilities in domain of...

    Excellent place with so many possibilities in domain of walking, Wellness & Spa activities, exploring restaurants with great food and drinks, etc. It is traditionally oriented to the Austrian culture and has incredible nature of the Wolfgang See surroundings... We like St. Wolfgang so much and we will be here for many years in the future during our vacations.

    St. Wolfgang is lovely but not pedestrian-friendly.

    St. Wolfgang is lovely but not pedestrian-friendly. The town is chopped up by a highway tunnel. The road from the Garni Buchinger hotel into the town is narrow, mostly with no sidewalks and pitch dark at night. There's a lot of traffic on this road making it unsafe for pedestrians. For this reason we had no choice but to drive the short distance into town each night for dinner.

    This was a lovely hotel right on the water in St Wolfgang. There's a private garden with two jacuzzi baths, and a private waterfront area for swimming. My room had a nice terrace with a beautiful view of the lake. Its very easy to get to the hotel by ferry, as the dock is only a few minutes away. You can also easily arrive by bus. My room was lovely and I appreciated that there was a speaker system with several music channels. The staff were very welcoming and the atmosphere was cosy and friendly. I would definitely recommend a stay here!

    We booked a few days holiday in the top studio room and were blown away by the incredible view. From our balcony, we had a breathtaking panorama of the lake and snow-capped mountains. The spa was clean and cozy, providing a relaxing retreat. The breakfast served was superb, offering a variety of delicious options. We also highly recommend trying the dinner at the hotel restaurant; the food was absolutely wonderful. The staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely return.

    We have been traveling to Austria for many years, and each time we are pleasantly surprised by the hospitality of the hosts. Just when you think nothing can surprise you anymore, you discover this place and are faced with only one problem: you don’t want to go home. Everything here is wonderful—the apartment is beautiful, the location is peaceful, and the hosts are simply amazing. Everything is perfect. Only one question remains: when will we come again?

    Lovely couple who run the apartments who greeted us and made us feel welcome from the moment we got there. The apartments are in a cute traditional Austrian building that is based right on the shore of the lake so we had stunning views and a private access to the lake for a swim using the ladder and stairs. This was our favorite holiday we have ever been and would be more than happy to go back. Thank you
