Newly renovated hotel with lovely alpine style! The rooms are spacious, and fashioned with elegant wood. The spa is great with a nice outdoor pool from which you can see the mountains. The service is impeccable, from arrival to departure you feel at home. The team moves your luggage, answers questions with a smile, and the food and wait service, and bar was wonderful.

Our stay at TUI Blue Montafon was simply perfect. A special mention goes to the attention and friendliness of all the staff, who were always helpful and welcoming. The hotel offers a wide variety of services, and the free access to the nearby swimming pools is a fantastic extra for relaxing after a day of exploring. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very clean, and the breakfast buffet is outstanding, both in quality and variety. Overall, an excellent experience. Thank you very much – we look forward to coming back!

    Useful stepping off point for experiencing the Montafon area on foot; or, as a base for exploring Montafon by bus or car. Trains to Tschagguns / Schruns are easy. I went London - Paris (Eurostar) - Zurich (TGV Lyria) - Bludenz - Tschagguns in one day. In Tschagguns I like the the Gasthof Lowen (Austrian food) and Dimis the greek restaurant. The pizza place is fine too but the others are I think the best!

    Schruns is quite modern Austrian Alps village, and...

    Schruns is quite modern Austrian Alps village, and everything well maintained and modern. Village is family friendly and not so busy than bigger skiing areas near by. Skiing area is a good size for few days skiing and there is possibilities for off piste in case of good / new snow conditions. Only challenge is the capacity of Hochjoch bahn and long queues there, otherwise ski lifts are quite modern and worked well.

    Schruns was attractive and characterful.

    Schruns was attractive and characterful. The skiing is fun with lots of tree runs and itineraries and would be amazing for skiing with fresh powder. I would not recommend staying at the Hotel Krone.

    Off street parking was great.

    Off street parking was great. Our room was lovely, with a deck and magnificent mountain views. It was very short stroll to the lovely ski village with lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. Our breakfast was very good. Check in was simple and the owner was very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

    Good balance in doing activities and relax.

    Good balance in doing activities and relax. Activities: walking/hiking of diverse levels, parapente, golf (9 holes), mountainbiking, swimming in excellent pool, tennis, toboggan (realy nice and long track), klettersteig, climbing, good basis to go to other areas like Brand in Vorarlberg (app 30 minutes drive), the astounishing Silvesstra-route with a lot of hairpins, etc. Relaxing: the (same) swimming pool with three (!) pools, two beachballfields and a large lawn, the village with quite a few nice restaurants, the nice hiking-possibilities to clear your mind, etc.

    If you want great skiing , an authentic Austrian experience...

    If you want great skiing , an authentic Austrian experience (with plenty of restaurants to choose from), the Montafon Valley has it all....and if you go in low season, you will nearly have the slopes to yourself. Leave your skis and boots on the mountain (rent a locker and it is heated overnight so everything is dry for the next day) so no hauling your gear up and down each day. Five areas to choose from with a free ski bus to get you around.

    Nice spa area and a big breakfast, snack and dinner buffet. Unfortunately the hotel was pretty full and plenty of people were reserving beds in the spa area with their towel. Therefore we couldn‘t find a single empty bed in the spa area in the afternoon which was sad. We then went to the family spa where we luckly found some beds to relax. So important to know, go to the spa area in the morning when it‘s less crowded.

    The hotel is amazing, great structure for families. The food is great, breakfast amazing, dinner and lunch with great variety. You fell really comfortable there, like at home. My daughter and nice loved the place! The swimming pools and all the play area for them. Massage at the spa was great too! I recommend the Hotel 100%, and I hope to come back soon!

    We had a great stay! The hotel was right next to a bus stop which takes you right to the ski lifts. The breakfast and dinner were fantastic! The sauna was also exceptional after a long day of skiing.
