I have to say I don't understand why people visit here other...
I have to say I don't understand why people visit here other than that it's somewhere to stay and also eat before heading off to the various natural attractions. There was no charm or character. I feel like I missed something. It was just a dumpy, dreary town with the odd boring historical building. The best part of Alice Springs would be the Desert Wildlife Park which was excellent, but I couldn't see that it had anything else going for it.Guest review byRebeccaAustralia - 10.0

We unfortunately encountered 2 days of rain on our 2 day stay. Guidebooks helped us get around and choose activities to do indoors. They made us feel at home on the property. There was a secure lock on the gate and we felt safe when inside the flat even though we have heard that Alice Springs isn’t very safe. The flat is a 2 mins walk from Alice Lodge Backpackers which is a great location for tour/transport pick ups and drop offs. The flat was so cosy and had a lot of character.
