I recommend this Abode Belconnen for holiday stay. It's perfect location. Down stairs is a bar , opposite is a club, Woolworths just cross the road .. very convenient. About 7 km to City. I really loved it

A very short stay as we had an early plane to catch. The hotel location was excellent as we could walk from the airport. We needed a trolley to wheel the luggage which the hotel secured for us over night. The room was so quiet and bed so comfortable we had a good nights sleep. Facilities were excellent and the room spotless. We would definitely recommend the hotel for anyone using the airport.

    Barton is the best place to base yourself when visiting Canberra. It’s easy to walk to Parliament House, the National Gallery, Kingston Foreshore and Manuka. It is very easy to get onto main roads if you are heading out of town in any direction. The streets are lovely for walking and Telopea Park is so pretty. Maple and Grove is a great cafe - perfect for early coffee (7am), breakfast or lunch.
