The Stables Cottage was in the perfect location in Bicheno. The cottage itself was large, well laid-out and spacious. The cottage is surrounded by a well-manicured lawn with many beautiful flowers. Postcard beautiful! Due to high winds on the second day of our stay, the internet went out. I contacted the manager, Sue, who immediately contacted me with the steps to get the internet back online. Loved the service.

We visited the Devils in the Dark show. Brilliant!

We visited the Devils in the Dark show. Brilliant! Viewing feeding the Tasmanian Devils over wine and cheese. Great dinner at Sealife Restaurant and Cafe. Comfortable stay at Bicheno on the Bay. Penguin chick under our deck was noisy but so exciting to see. Blowhole and beaches are stunning.

Bicheno was a great base to explore the area.

Bicheno was a great base to explore the area. We were sad we did not see any penguins. We had take away fish and chips at Tasmanian Coastal Seafoods which was beautifully cooked and delicious! We also had dinner at Le Coq and wow, was the most amazing piece of steak that melted in your mouth.

Stayed at Beachfront which was great value for money,...

Stayed at Beachfront which was great value for money, central location, within walking distance to most attractions. We ate at Food & Brew for lunch & the iconic Lobster Shack for dinner, with some afternoon beers at the newly opened Bicheno Beer Co cellar door. The blowhole is a short walk or easily accessible by a short car drive. Beautiful seaside town with lots to offer, definitely recommend staying a night or two.

Coastal walks were superb. We could see the lookout on the hill but had great difficulty in finding information about it & easy access - a wasted opportunity for new visitors to the area as once up there the views were fabulous.

I must admit that when I saw the property I was very disappointed .advertised as a lake view on the bay,It was a mediocre motel at best and the lake was a dirty children’s play pool really but dirty and I would never have let any children of mine anyway near it.

Bicheno was very enjoyable and a great location to stay a few nights and enjoy the surrounds. Well located to do day trips north or south along the east coast. Enjoyed the Penguin Tour. Very scenic location.

Shane's messages were amazing regarding access- Thank you! The accommodation was close to central business district and included scenic views and access to the beach. There was a heat pump and very clean floors and all the basics. The room was away from noise and noisy guests and had 2 beds per my request. modern artwork in the room was enjoyable for the theme of the town. The sunrise was the best I have seen in Tasmania and on my to-do list for years Very relaxing!

This apartment was centrally located and would be the best accommodation we⁷ stayed in during our 2 week journey around Tasmania. (Sorry Garden Room on Nixon in Devonport - The Hub just pipped you at the post - not by much though)! Breakfast was via the Cafe next door. It could be ordered in advance and delivered to your room or you could eat it there. We chose the later.

The accomodation was well thought out, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Staff were lovely and even let us check in early. A short walk to the beach or cafes and restaurants. We would definitely stay at Beachfront Bicheno again.
