    Lovely holiday.

Lovely holiday. We really enjoyed The Big Banana, Coffs Coast Wildlife Santuary, the beaches and walks on the jetty and the island. We even saw wales from the top of the island. Our children are 10 and 12.

Beautiful clean beaches with some whale watching options between June to Nov - family friendly and lovely warm weather We ate dinner at Stef &co and being vegetarians found some lovely options - the ravioli with lemon tang and saffron was a true find ! The Coffs beer pale ale was light and refreshing Drive up from Sydney to Coffs was a breeze with two hour stops at bulah delah and Kempsey Perfect for family weekends or with friends

We arrived at night in drkness so it was difficult to get a fix on location and most things were closed as it was winter. However, it was a lovely harbour and area during the daylight to walk and grab a coffee.

The weather was perfect for winter.

The weather was perfect for winter. My husband and I walked up Mutten bird hill and admired the lovely views, then walked around the foreshore and along the pier. It was all so pretty. We found some lovely cafes for breakfasts, and restaurants for dinner. We looked at the shopping malls as well. Everything is in close proximity. We have been to the lookout overlooking the town before, and thought it was awesome. We didn't have time to go there this time as we ran out of time. There are a lot of attractions for families, which we have been to in previous years.

I love the outskirts of Coffs -definitely recommend Idle In Cafe for coffee and breakfast in Nana Glen . The General bake house in Coramba, great lamb and rosemary pies .Park Beach bowling club had lunch and dinner there a few nights ,their cafe has a great menu. If I travelled in summer I’d have been at the beach . I travelled up to Emerald Beach and out to Woolgoolga not a far drive and nice places to see.

Coffs Harbour is one of the largest urban centres on the North Coast of NSW, with a population of about 80,000 people. It is easily reached by car, train or the airport. It saw its first white settlers in the early 1800s when escaped prisoners took refuge on Muttonbird Island. Timber and banana plantations were the first major industries. Today, tourism is a major economic driver. Named after a John Korff, a ship builder, eventually becoming Coffs Harbour (an 1861 typo that became permanent!). There are numerous attractions in Coffs Harbour and surrounding areas. Plenty of beaches, walks and natural features to explore.

I think I stayed at this motel in the early 1970s with parents in an up stairs room. The room we stayed has been updated and reflects what you would expect in a motel today. The motel did warn about possible noise at night from the highway but it was not an issue for us. When the Coffs Harbour bi-pass is finished, traffic noise should not be an issue to anyone. The motel is centrally located with a hotel next door for evening meals.

The room was fine. The resort grounds were incredible. The pools were beautiful, the golf holes were great and the walk to the beach delightful. It’s close to the big banana, lookout and plaza, but not close to downtown Coffs Harbour. Highly recommend.

Clean spacious apartments with plenty of amenities and decent comfortable beds. The pool was great, my kids enjoyed splashing around. Perfect for a lower cost stay in Coffs where you want to be comfortable but don't need the 5 star hotel experience.
