I have found many wonderful properties through booking.com -- but this may be the best in terms of location & comfort. Wonderful welcoming details such as rugs on the sofa. Peter even made us pizza! So welcome after a long, cross day travelling. Loved it!and left making promises to come back ....

The hosts Sue and Dave were lovely people and made us feel welcome with great views of the hills. Their horses are very friendly and love a good pat, and their Dog dusty that roams around is very cute and loves a good pat. For those trying to get away from the city and enjoy the hills and have great hosts come here. will definitely come back again

Our lovely host Evelyn made us feel so welcome and had a lovely loaf of home made bread wrapped up in a tea towel for us to have for breakfast. It was so nice there wasn't much left for breakfast! It is in a beautiful location where you can hear the wind rushing through the trees and the birds signing, utter peace and quiet. It was a lovely place to stay and everything is catered for, we will be back.

The Cottage is really a wonderful place. Not just the Cottage itself, nicely restored and decorated the whole setting with the lovely gardens is just really nice. Also it's a great place to look at the wine destinations near by. Nice coffee machine and a very welcome treat to some tim tams.❤️😁 The kitchen has all you need and more. Thank you for having us.
