    Lots to see & do....or enjoy doing nothing at all. Beautiful bay to walk along, lots of fantastic places to eat at, cafés, clubs, bakeries, restaurants & all different cuisines. A relaxing, peaceful place with a totally unpretentious vibe.

    Has everything you need for a relaxing holiday or if you prefer to be busy there is plenty to see and do. I must recommend a whale watching cruise we've been twice with 'whale song' they are excellent and the whales were magnificent.

    Had a great time seeing the whales!! Driving through Hervey Bay is easy to find where you want to go. Plenty of food places to eat out. Only there for a few days, needed more time to see and do all they have to offer.

    Must do is the Pacific Whale Foundation Whale trip, totally awesome and they are non profit so all the money goes back into the research of the whales. I prefer the quieter side of Hervey Bay the side we stayed in Torquay was busy but vibrant. Loads of places to eat on the Esplanade. The pier is worth a walk along. Make sure you get to the beach at sunset as it is beautiful to watch.

    Hervey Bay was great as the esplanade is long and plenty of shops/restaurants and bars to visit. There is a walking path on both sides and a few jetty's and piers to walk down. The whale watching was incredible and educational and Hervey Bay is the best place to watch them rest and play.

    We were there primarily for the whale watching which was an amazing experience. There were lots of good places to eat and were surprisingly well priced for a tourist town at the start of their busy season.

    Being a budget hotel it was all we needed for a few days. It was close to eating places and across the road from the beach. Being on a main road we expected a bit of road noise but was pleasantly surprised that we couldn't hear it.The office staff were very friendly. If you expect to be in a 5* resort you will be disappointed but if you just want a place that is close to the beach, eateries, that is clean and has Air conditioner, Wi-Fi, TV, Toiletries tea and coffee well I can recommend the Urangan Motor Inn.

    Perfect position, close to beach, restaurants,shops,not too far from Hervey Bay Airport. Our Apartment was on the 4th floor facing the Beach. Apartment very spacious, plenty of room for families, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, separate lounge areas, 2 bedrooms Master had private verandah. Tennis court, pool with Spa, this was perfect for us, as a family.
