Kingston Hotel had extremely large rooms and was on the opposite block to Coles supermarket and other shops. The rooms were separate from the hotel which enabled a very quiet sleep. Spacious room, all basic amenities available- microwave, fridge, tv, cutlery, kettle and toaster. Had a seperate sofa and dining table which is well placed. Very helpful receptionist, check-in after hours was hassle free and provided late check out too. Coles is right opposite which is great, location is a little far from city centre (10-15mins drive)but this is a good budget friendly and hygienic option. Exteriors are okay, was disappointed but once I saw the room was very happy. 4/5 overall!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

I used my room at the kingston Hotel as my base as I was touring around the local area. It was in a prime spot, if you enjoy shopping this is the spot for you, for me it was all about travelling around. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Also so quiet, I was very surprised by this. The restaurant the staff was lovely and the food fantastic. Very family friendly with an area just for kids to have fun. A growing area with ample shopping and other convenient facilities,such as restaurants, fast food outlets, bus station etc., all within a short walk. An efficient bus service to cater for trips to the city of Hobart. The township is handy to Kingston Beach and other surrounding areas for daily walks.
